Carole Rome Biography

The history of Franco goes back to 1910 when they started in business as a Joke and Trick wholesaler. Sam Oumano started the business. Sam was very talented and created many joke and tricks that are still popular today.

Sam's youngest son Robert succeeded his father shortly after finishing college and serving in World War II and successfully brought Franco forward to becoming one of the leaders in the industry. Bob also saw the great future in the Halloween business and had the foresight to send his buyers overseas, thus capturing the leading items available from countries all over the world.

Franco 14 Franco's success soared year after year. Unfortunately, in December of 2000, Bob passed away at the age of 77. The leadership of Franco fell into the hands of Bob's wife, Margaret Oumano and daughters. Their success in running Franco has been phenomenal.
